Instead, we learn to step outside of the storm long enough to observe it, listen to it, and learn from it. In time, we discover how to live alongside it, accept it as part of our nature, and then transform its intensity into a wisdom, strength, and compassion that we weave into the healthier parts of ourselves... by learning to embrace the storm we accept that the rainbow is not separate from it, but born because of it. ♥️

𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏.💕 Mothering does not just come from the woman who brought us into this world, but comes from ALL of the women who have helped us along the way.

Some support us just once, while others support us throughout our lifetime. Regardless of how long they stay or how much they give, there is something profoundly healing about the love and compassion of a woman who offers genuine care without ever asking for anything in return... often doing so while depleted herself, pouring from a cup that rarely gets replenished.

The women who have a natural tendency to nurture everyone and everything around them while also balancing full schedules, full responsibilities, and full lives, often do so without asking for or receiving even a fraction of that same care in return, and these are the true MVPs of this day. These women deserve to be honored with the same gratitude we give to the woman we call Mother.

It was one woman who gave us life, but it takes a team of women to help us grow.

Thank you to the all of the women who have, and continue to show up as the mother archetype. I pray that you find and support each other to continue the sacred work that you do. The world needs you now more than ever.
