Ashley from Into Action Sober Living and Matt from The Ridge Treatment Center had the pleasure of visiting Sana at Stowe in Stowe, Vermont.

Sana at Stowe is a detox/residential facility that offers evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders. Sana embraces a holistic approach to treatment, addressing each individual's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. On the grounds are a wellness studio, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a beautiful garden, and an outdoor space for groups or for sitting and enjoying some quiet time. With a low client-to-staff ratio, each person receives highly personalized care tailored to their unique needs. A friendly therapy dog, Zelda, is also on site several days a week.

Fun Fact: Sana often has a visitor poking around campus, but they assured me he is harmless to people. 🐻 Unfortunately, (or fortunately), we did not get to meet him today. 🐻

Thank you, Brendan, for inviting us to visit the facility. We look forward to your visit to N.H.

🌫 Mindset Monday – June 1

It Helped… Until It Didn’t

Some behaviors began as protection.

Shutting down.
Pushing people away.
Controlling everything.
Always staying guarded.

At one point, those reactions helped us survive.

Over time, they started limiting growth, relationships, and peace.

Real change begins
when we stop protecting
the habits that hold us back.

What’s one defense mechanism you’ve had to outgrow?

🔥 2 Years for Damon 🔥

“Turns out it was never me against the universe.”

For a long time, Damon thought he had to carry everything on his own. Now he has a higher power and community to walk through life with, side by side.

2 years sober is no small thing. It’s when life, can get "lifey". Many will say the time between 1 and 2 years, is more difficult than the 1st. Often complacency can get us, we need to stay vigilant, like Damon. showing up when it’s hard. It’s learning to let people in. It’s staying willing, staying grateful, and continuing to grow.

Proud of you, brother. The way you carry yourself today speaks for itself. Excited to see what year 3 brings. 💪

☀️ Mindset Monday – May 25

Life in Freedom. There’s something powerful about telling the whole truth, withholding nothing.

For a lot of us, honesty felt terrifying.
Like exposure.
Like loss.

But on the other side of it?

Peace.
Relief.
Freedom.

Sometimes freedom doesn’t come from changing everything. Sometimes it comes from finally being honest about everything.

Spring is in the Air 🌅🌿

Check out the Sunset Meeting at Derryfield Park, Sundays at 7pm!

Good weather, good people, and a strong reminder that recovery gets better when we show up.

🔥 ONE YEAR SOBER — Brandon 🔥

One year sober is earned. It’s a year of doing the work, taking direction, being honest, and building a different way of life day by day.

We’re proud to celebrate Brandon on one full year of sobriety. 💪

Brandon kept it straightforward — meetings, a service position, guidance from sponsors, and a willingness to follow through. He said the biggest change came from learning to be honest “with everyone and everything,” and taking responsibility for his actions.

That approach has taken him a long way in one year.

Congratulations, Brandon. Keep building. 👏

HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery's Gala theme this year — “Recovery in Bloom” — focused on the stages of change, growth, and hope that can happen when people get the right support and care.

Check out the videos from the event, produced without words, powerfully showing the stages a person goes through as they find hope and the ability to change. Simple concept, but incredibly powerful. This is what we talk about when we say "meet a person where they're at". Because the seeds are being planted - we don't always know when the plant will sprout.

The videos are starring our very own Grace 💥🙌, who has gracefully (🤣) gone through these very stages herself. Proud of you, Grace. 🌸

Into Action Sober Living and WorkPath Staffing stopped by to meet the team at On the Road to Wellness, the beneficiary of the upcoming Granite Recovery Centers Charity Softball Tournament and we’re glad to support the work they do in our community.

On the Road to Wellness is a peer-run nonprofit serving adults in Greater Manchester and Derry living with mental health challenges. They provide free support groups, wellness programming, transportation assistance, social connection, and recovery-focused housing through their Step-Up Step-Down program. Their services are community-based and accessible without insurance or referral requirements. Go check them out!

Organizations doing direct, boots-on-the-ground work like this matter. Looking forward to supporting a great cause at the tournament. ⚾💙

Today we had the pleasure of having Into Action Sober Living and WorkPath Staffing stop by the center to learn more about what we do here at On the Road to Wellness! Thank you for your generosity and for bringing us these super cool hoodies — we truly appreciate the support. 💙

🗣 Mindset Monday – May 18
Say It Out Loud (Step 5)

There’s a difference between thinking it and admitting it.

Say it OUT LOUD 📢
Breaks denial.
Breaks isolation.
Breaks the cycle.

Truth OUT LOUD has a way of loosening
what shame tries to tighten.

Say it.
Own it.
Move forward.

What a night at the HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery Gala 🎉

Only in its second year, and it’s already become one of the must-attend events in Manchester. The room was filled with energy, laughter, and people who genuinely care about recovery and community.

We had an amazing time spending the evening with our team, alumni, partners, city officials, and our friends at WorkPath Staffing!

And of course — we have to give a HUGE shout-out to the unexpected star of the Gala video… our very own Grace! ⭐👏
Safe to say she stole the show!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the night special. We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to grow, support one another, and show up in such a big way.
