CMC’s birthing unit, The Mom’s Place, was the first hospital in the country to have a neonatal unit based on "couplet care.” Our nationally-accredited Breast Care Center was the first in the state to use contrast enhanced mammography and SAVI SCOUT® localization for breast surgery. Meet Tillie! During a recent visit, one of our patients shared that spending time with our CMC therapy dogs was the only medicine they needed.

Our Pet Therapy teams bring comfort, companionship and plenty of tail wags to patients throughout the hospital. Whether it's easing anxiety, lifting spirits, or simply providing a quiet moment of connection, these special visits can make all the difference.

We're proud to unveil our newly renovated Provider Lounge — a welcoming space designed for our physicians and advanced practice providers to rest, recharge and connect with one another.

This investment reflects our continued commitment to supporting the people who care for our patients every day. The Provider Lounge not only provides a dedicated space for collaboration and well-being but also plays an important role in recruiting and retaining exceptional providers who choose to care for our community.

This renovation is just one of many improvements happening across our hospital. Since February 2025, more than $157 million in capital projects has been approved, including investments in patient care areas, equipment, infrastructure, nursing units and staff spaces. As these projects continue in phases, we're committed to creating an environment where both our caregivers and patients can thrive.

Recently, we hosted our Cardiac Arrest Survivors' Reunion, recognizing those whose swift actions, expertise and teamwork helped give patients a second chance at life.

From the moment a 911 call is placed, these first responders are a critical link in the chain of survival. We were proud to honor the crews whose dedication, compassion and commitment make lifesaving outcomes possible every day.
