Our doctors were the first in the state to perform a mechanical heart/left ventricular assist device implant and first in New England to implant the WATCHMAN™ for atrial fibrillation. CMC was also one of the first hospitals in New Hampshire to establish a joint venture with independent medical staff members when it became a partner in the freestanding Bedford Ambulatory Surgical Center and imaging center. CMC’s birthing unit, The Mom’s Place, was the first hospital in the country to have a neonatal unit based on "couplet care.” Our nationally-accredited Breast Care Center was the first in the state to use contrast enhanced mammography and SAVI SCOUT® localization for breast surgery. With primary care practices that care for the very young to the young at heart and our dedication to community outreach programs, CMC is helping to foster a healthier community, everyday.

When a mom goes into labor, there’s a lot on her mind… and one thing that often gets left behind? Her phone charger! 🔋📱

Thanks to a thoughtful donation from Elliot Perry of the Elliot Perry Foundation, that’s one less thing for our moms to worry about!

Elliot recently stopped by our Mom’s Place and NICU to deliver 25 universal phone chargers, helping families stay connected, share those first precious photos and keep loved ones updated as they welcome their newest arrivals.

Because when you're welcoming a baby, the last thing you need is a phone battery at 1%!

What an incredible show of community support! 💗

More than 2,000 walkers came together for this year's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of New Hampshire Walk, and our Catholic Medical Center (CMC) team, CMC-Pinky Promise, had plenty to celebrate!

Thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, friends and community, our team reached its $10,000 fundraising goal before the walk even began — a first for our team! CMC-Pinky Promise also ranked third in overall team fundraising and was the top fundraising company team.

Our CMC Breast Care Center proudly sponsored the starting line, where Dr. Jessica Ryan helped kick off the walk with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

We're grateful to everyone who walked, donated and supported this meaningful event. Together, we're making a positive impact in the fight against breast cancer!
