WestBridge is a family-founded, private non-profit organization established in 2001, supporting the recovery of adults and their families experiencing mental illness with or without substance use. We are lo

cated in Manchester, NH, one hour from Boston, MA. WestBridge has significant expertise in treating adults experiencing Schizophrenia Spectrum & other Psychotic Disorders (e.g. Schizoaffective Disorder), Mood Disorders (e.g. Bipolar Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder), Anxiety Disorders, and PTSD, with or without Substance Use. WestBridge offers the following programs:

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Services are offered in an office setting to adults who can benefit from more support than traditional outpatient counseling can provide, yet do not need the intensity of a partial hospital, residential or inpatient program. Our IOP is shifting to a hybrid virtual and in-person format on February 2, 2026

Residential Treatment Program:
Our residential program is dually licensed by the State of New Hampshire for both mental health and substance use disorder treatment. It is CARF accredited and staffed 24/7/365. Programming is offered in a residential setting and the community. This program helps people experiencing mental illness with or without substance use, to begin or to re-establish healing. We provide an environment that is safe, homelike, comfortable and wellness-oriented. Community Integration Program (CIP):
Our community integration program (CIP) is based on the evidence-based assertive community treatment (ACT) model for adults and their families experiencing serious mental illness with or without co-occurring substance use. Services and frequency are individually tailored to the participant’s needs, with the potential to receive two to over 30 hours each week of comprehensive wraparound services provided in a combination of the community, participant’s home, and the office. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
WestBridge’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides structured, intensive mental health and substance use treatment in a supportive outpatient setting, five hours per day, five days per week for 4 – 6 weeks. Designed for individuals experiencing moderate to severe psychiatric symptoms, emotional distress or substance use disorders that interfere with daily functioning, and who require a higher level of care than traditional outpatient therapy but do not need 24-hour inpatient hospitalization. As such, PHP can serve as a step-down from inpatient care or a step-up from lower levels of outpatient support. Some distinctive features of both our residential and community integration program include a transdisciplinary team with psychiatry, "Meet and Greets" for prospective participants, supported education, volunteerism and employment, and an active alumni program WestBridge excels in helping adults experiencing mental illness with or without substance use who have not been able to obtain long-term recovery after prior treatment. Our independently verified treatment outcomes for men with co-occurring disorders are published in a peer-reviewed professional journal. WestBridge provides intensive outpatient program services and residential treatment to Veterans in the VA Community Care Network (CCN Region I) through a contract with Optum. WestBridge is located in Manchester, NH, 15 minutes from the Manchester Regional Airport, and approximately 1 hour from Boston, MA. We are near multiple post-secondary schools, employment, and volunteer opportunities.

On Mother’s Day, we recognize that for many it can be complicated, it can bring up gratitude, grief, distance, love or a mix of emotions, some positive, some not so. However you experience the day, it’s valid and real.

We also recognize that care doesn’t come from just one role. It shows up in mentors, friends, family members, neighbors, and the people who step in when it matters most. You don’t have to be a mother to be a mother figure and many people have shaped lives in that way.

We honor those who have offered guidance, support, patience, and care in any form. And if the day is complicated, take it at your own pace. Today, we recognize and appreciate the many forms care can take, and the different ways people experience it.
