What another FANTASTIC day!! 😍🥳🌺🥂🎊🎶

We celebrated big time for National Hawaiian shirt day & National Senior Citizen day combined!

The morning started with Hawaiian Lei Toss & Hula Dance lessons and we ended the day outside for Happy Hour with our dearest friend Harry Beckett from St. Croix Hospice !!!! Harry always ups the FUN factor with great music, stories, laughs and today he brought sq**rt guns, beach balls & instruments to play! 🎤🎼🪇🥁🪘🔫

We even had a very special local friend Larry come in just to visit residents & staff and sing with Harry! These are the moments that are just pure MAGIC to be part of! 🥰🥳

Today we honored our local radio personality @ 99.1 KDWD Aaron Ervie, more famously known at Big Erv! 🎙🎚🎛📻🎶🎤
Residents got a chance to interview Big Erv, challenge his radio/music knowledge & learn a plethora of information about the history of broadcasting!

Several Residents commented similar sentiments of "It's so cool to put a face to a voice we hear everyday during meals!"🤩

Huge thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend time with us Big Erv!🥰

Well...since mother nature decided she was having a "hot flash" today on National S'mores day and we couldn't do the planned S'mores making activity outside. 🍫🔥

We quickly flipped to a game of LCR with candy as the prize pot! They had never played but caught on quick and we played for 1 ¹/2 hours of FUN & learning a new game! 🎲🍫🍬🍭

Also! We want to give a shout out to another one of our new official Volunteers Shelly! We love that you chose Pioneer to spread love & joy to our Residents!
