The last member of our team we are featuring for this month, is Michelle!

Job title and how long you’ve worked at Hearing and Speech Center:

I am a Patient Care Coordinator. I have worked at Hearing and Speech Center for two years.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I take pride in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and making sure they have a good experience when they come to see us. I enjoy getting to know our patients and seeing them every few months.

What do you like doing in your free time?

I have two daughters and two grandsons that I enjoy spending time with. My husband and I like to go for walks when the weather is nice. I also enjoy relaxing with a good book.

Where is the farthest place you have traveled to?

When I was in high school, I went to Mexico City and Acapulco with a group of classmates that took Spanish. It was a great experience!

Favorite foods/restaurants:

I like many different types of food. My husband and I enjoy going to Mexican, Italian and Asian restaurants. My husband is a very good cook and likes making new dishes.

Our next staff member we are featuring for this month is Kaitlyn:

Job title and how long you’ve worked at Hearing and Speech Center:

I am one of the Patient Care Coordinators. I have been at the Hearing and Speech Center for 3 years today! I started on June 9th, 2023, which is also my birthday.



What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love our patients and enjoy knowing that I am a part of helping them hear their very best. I also enjoy my co-workers and how we all work together as a team. We have a great group, and it makes work enjoyable!



What do you like doing in your free time?

In my free time you will find me spending it with my family; which consists of my husband, 14-year-old son, a dog, and two cats; reading a good book, cooking/baking new recipes, going to concerts, and taking our black lab, Raven, for a walk. I also enjoy the summer months spent outdoors hiking trails or spent by the lake. Have to get out and enjoy the nice weather while we have it here in Minnesota!



Where is the farthest place you have traveled to?

Clearwater Beach, Florida for my honeymoon. It was both my husband and I’s first time on an airplane and our first time seeing the ocean. We had fun experiencing that together!



Favorite foods/restaurants:

Some of my favorite foods are Mexican and Chinese dishes. The sesame chicken from Hunan Lion here in Marshall is one of my favorites. I also enjoy Mariachis; they have the best chips and salsa!
