A few times each year, we enjoy taking a bus trip to Seven Wells Winery & Vineyard in California, Kentucky. Today, the experience came to us! 🍷

Owner Doug Wehrman visited our community to host a wonderful wine tasting, giving many residents who are unable to attend our Wednesday outings the opportunity to enjoy this special experience. Residents sampled five different wines, ranging from dry to sweet and from white to red, while Doug shared the history of the farm, explained the winemaking process, and answered questions about growing grapes and producing wine.

It was a fun and educational afternoon, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A few residents even purchased bottles to take home! Thank you, Doug, for taking the time to bring Seven Wells Winery to our residents. We always love our visits to Seven Wells, and today was no exception! 🍇✨

Today we officially kicked off our new Book Club, compliments of Mason Library! 📚

Our residents were so excited to receive their very first book and many started reading right away. The conversations began immediately as everyone shared their excitement and started thinking about what they’d like to discuss at our next meeting.

Book Club is more than just reading—it’s an opportunity to connect with one another, share ideas, create meaningful friendships, and support brain health along the way. We can’t wait to see where this first book takes us!

Today we enjoyed our much-awaited Mother’s Day Brunch—better late than never! 💐

Our Chef did an amazing job creating an outstanding buffet spread that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Each table was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, which our residents were able to take home as a special keepsake.

The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and cherished memories, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all. It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating the incredible mothers in our community, and the event was a tremendous success. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special day! ❤️

Today we planted our rooftop gardens, and it could not have been a more perfect sunny day for it. ☀️🌱 With music playing and our hands in the dirt, we spent the afternoon enjoying the fresh air and wonderful conversation together.

The ladies loved reminiscing about the gardens they once cared for and sharing stories from years past. We planted tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, herbs, and beautiful flowers that are already bringing so much life to the patio.

Our rooftop patio is looking absolutely beautiful, and we cannot wait to watch everything grow this summer. 🌼🍓🍅

Today our memory care residents enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Cincinnati’s famous Krohn Conservatory for their limited-time butterfly exhibit. It was peaceful, magical and truly unforgettable. Experiences like these bring our TouchPoint Sensory™ approach to life. 🦋

The butterflies seemed to adore our residents just as much as we adored watching them flutter all around. They continuously landed on shoulders and hands, prompting smiles throughout the exhibit.

The ladies gathered together to create beautiful spring-inspired floral designs filled with color, creativity, and joy. From delicate petals to vibrant blooms, each arrangement reflected the beauty of the season and the wonderful ladies who made them.

What a beautiful afternoon spent at Seven Wells Winery and Vineyard! 🍷🍇

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing outing filled with delicious pizza, a wonderful wine tasting, and a glass of their favorite selection while taking in the breathtaking country scenery. Nestled at the front of a beautiful 300-acre farm, the winery provided the perfect backdrop as we overlooked the pond and vineyards while enjoying lunch together.

The peaceful views, fresh air, and wonderful company made for such a memorable day! ❤️
