At Oral Health Ohio’s Fourth Biannual Oral Health Symposium a couple weeks ago, the Good Samaritan Free Health Center (FHC) was honored with the inaugural Marla Morse Grassroots Oral Health Champion Award.

This award recognizes individuals and organizations that demonstrate exceptional leadership, advocacy, and commitment to improving oral health across Ohio. The FHC was the first organization to receive this honor for its embodiment of these values.

Additionally, the FHC was awarded a $5,000 honorarium from HealthPath Foundation of Ohio in support of its continued efforts to advance oral health in Ohio.

The FHC provides multidisciplinary care free of charge to patients, which includes dental care, dental prosthetics, and oral surgery. It is the only free health center in Ohio, and one of only a few nationwide, to provide medical, dental, and behavioral health services.

Come spend time in one of TriHealth's recently opened Baby Cafés at various hospital locations, including Bethesda North Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital and TriHealth Clinton Regional Hospital!

Baby Cafe USA is an organization dedicated to providing free, drop-in sites that provide ongoing professional lactation care in a welcoming and informal setting. Catch an opening every Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., with a different hospital location open each week (see flier for further details). We hope to see you there!

As we begin National Diabetes Month, TriHealth is proud to once again be recognized by the American Heart Association for excellence in its "Target: BP" and "Target: Type 2 Diabetes" programs, which TriHealth's Diabetes Team received Gold+ and Gold ratings in, respectively.

As the largest pediatric network in the region, TriHealth is proud to support all aspects of childhood wellness, including youth sports!

TriHealth provides Athletic Trainers and sports medicine services to 29 Cincinnati–area high schools, alongside our partners at Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. One of these schools is Ross High School—a relationship that dates back to 2015.

TriHealth is proud to have an Athletic Trainer on site for after school sports medicine coverage throughout the school year, working hard to keep the Ross Community Safe and Healthy.

Pictured at the Ross Athletic Boosters Cow Dump Raffle and Fundraiser is the Ross High School Athletic Trainer, Elizabeth Conlin, who has been with the school for the last three years.
