National CPR & AED Awareness Week!

This week serves as an important reminder of the impact that CPR and AED knowledge can have during a cardiac emergency.

According to the American Heart Association, immediate CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival. Knowing how to recognize an emergency, call 911, begin CPR, and use an AED can help save lives when every second matters.

Take time this week to learn about CPR and AEDs, refresh your skills if you're already trained, and encourage others to do the same.

Awareness. Preparedness. Action.

Safe Sleep Starts with a Safe Sleep Space!

Did you know? The safest place for a baby to sleep is on a firm, flat mattress with nothing else in the crib.

-No pillows
-No blankets
-No stuffed animals or toys
-No crib bumpers

Keeping the sleep area clear helps reduce the risk of sleep related infant deaths and creates a safer environment for your baby.

Remember: Alone. On their Back. In a Crib. Every sleep, every nap, every night.

Safe sleep saves lives.
