Today is HIV Vaccine Awareness Day. According to the CDC, in 2023, over 39,000 people were diagnosed with HIV in the U.S. About 80% of those infected were men and one third were Hispanic. Science continues to move us closer to an HIV vaccine, but prevention and knowing your status matter now.
