I used to rehearse what I’d say… and still not say it

I’d run it over in my head
Edit it
Soften it
Delay it

And then the moment would pass

Now I trust myself enough to speak in real time

No performance
No perfection
Just clarity

Overthinking is just fear in a fancy outfit
