pouty vs long
1) pouty - the volume is more central focused with a sharp tapper from Cupids bow to tail, giving the appearance of more height, lip lift effect. In this photo her bottom is bigger than her top but we can also make this shape with more of a 50/50 ratio if the tissue will allow.
2) longer - more length and volume to the tails of the top lip with a flatter / softer cupids bow. This gives the appearance of less of a vertical height gain because the tapper isnβt as steep however she still got a good amount of lift here. Overall ratio for her is 50/50.
Both of these patients have previous filler and we were able to build off existing volume. Both patients used a full syringe of retsylane kysse, and both are immediately after so theyβre already 30 to 40% more swollen than what they will end up being. This is a good representation of what a total of 1 1/2 syringes of restylane kysse would look like. However, I do not recommend doing more than one full syringe in a session. The best shapes come when you actually build slowly overtime, which was the case with both of these patients coming back after several months to continue to work on the shapes and size.
