💬 October is AAC Awareness Month!

AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) gives many children a way to express their wants, needs, thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

One of the best ways to support AAC users is through modeling—using their communication system as you talk. Just like children learn spoken language by hearing it, they learn AAC by seeing it used consistently throughout the day.

Every modeled word is an opportunity for connection and communication. 💙
