FABA 2026 💫
After 13 years of Heal the World and 20+ years in the field of ABA, one thing I never want to stop doing is learning. This year’s FABA was a few days of continuing education, ethics, and opportunities to become better clinicians for the children and families who trust us with their care and remind us why we do what we do every single day 🧩💙
This year looked a little different, as I attended on my own while my amazing held down the fort back home. And I’m especially grateful for them 💞
But this FABA was also extra special, as I also had the opportunity to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of USF’s ABA program, the program where I completed my Master’s and that played such an important role in shaping the BCBA I became 💚💛🤘🏻
And getting to reunite with Dr. Kevin Murdock and Dr. Ray Miltenberger, two of my amazing mentors during my years in Tampa, made it even more meaningful 🥹 There are people who teach you the science, and then there are people whose mentorship stays with you long after you leave the classroom ❤️
