Back in June, our very own Cristina Tsimogiannis, PT, DPT attended Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s 49th Annual Spinal Cord Injury Course. This week, she brought that knowledge back to our team through an inservice presentation highlighting key takeaways, current research, treatment approaches, and advancements in spinal cord injury rehabilitation.

Over one week post-op and already putting in the work 💪🦵✨

Miriam’s recovery journey is just getting started! The first few sessions are all about restoring movement, rebuilding strength, managing swelling, and creating a strong foundation for the weeks ahead.

🎓 Investing in the future of physical therapy

Our Director, Miriam Guanche, had the opportunity to represent Miami Physical Therapy Associates at the Florida International University Doctor of Physical Therapy Annual Job Fair, where she connected with DPT students, shared insights about our clinic, and discussed career opportunities in outpatient physical therapy.

At Miami Physical Therapy Associates, we believe exceptional therapists are developed through mentorship, continuous learning, teamwork, and compassionate patient care. It was a pleasure meeting so many motivated future clinicians who are passionate about making a difference.
