It's an afternoon of community, food, a new co****le tournament and an evening fireworks show — all while supporting local Geauga County veteran organizations.

CALLING ALL LOCAL VENDORS:

Applications are now open for our Holiday Vendor Market at The Cottages on Saturday, November 7th.

We’re looking for artisans, crafters, bakers, boutiques, specialty vendors, and other unique small businesses to help make this holiday tradition even more special.
Event Details • Vendor Market: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Vendor spaces are 10’ x 10’ outdoors and are $25 to reserve your spot. The fee is refunded the day of the event when you attend. Space is limited, so don’t wait to apply!

After an incredible journey that began at Briar back in February 2018, and continued with the Hill Group out of Holly since September 2018, it's time to celebrate Tammy as she starts her next chapter — retirement!

Feel Good Fridays!

🔥🍫 We're getting into that late summer, early fall mood with s'mores and a cozy "campfire" celebration. Our residents enjoyed sticky, gooey s'mores while singing campfire songs heartily! The halls were filled with familiar tunes and lots of laughter. What a wonderful way to kick off the season! 🎶✨

Christian Ohman and Alex Mostoller were in Cincinnati this week after being invited to speak at an Ohio healthcare event focused on advancing skilled nursing ventilator programs.

No theory—just lessons, challenges, and evidence from building Breathe Easy and learning what it truly takes to operate a ventilator program that achieves financial success, delivers clinical excellence, and stays ahead of changing regulations.

The important topic at hand: how our industry can raise the standard of respiratory care so more patients can recover, breathe easier, and live fuller lives closer to home.

Recovery is made up of moments that once felt impossible.

After a serious motor vehicle accident, Bill came to Ohman Family Living at Briar with a tracheostomy, multiple fractures, and a feeding tube. Through determination, hard work, and the support of his care team, he has reached incredible milestones.

Today, his tracheostomy has been removed, he no longer needs a feeding tube, and he’s rebuilding his strength and independence one step at a time.

We’re honored to be part of Bill’s recovery journey and can’t wait to celebrate the milestones still to come.
