🕯️ Remembering D. D. Palmer — The Discoverer of Chiropractic
March 7, 1845 – October 20, 1913

Today, 113 years after his passing, we pause to honor a man whose discovery continues to influence lives around the world.

D. D., did you ever imagine how far your discovery would reach? How many millions of lives would be touched? How many families would embrace a different perspective on health? How many people would find their calling in Chiropractic?

Behind every Chiropractor is a journey that traces back to the beginning you helped start. For those of us who have dedicated our lives to this profession, that legacy is deeply personal.

Today, we remember your life with gratitude—and carry that legacy forward through our service to others. 🙏

Thank you, D. D. Palmer.

Today, September 10, we honor the birthday of Bartlett Joshua “B.J.” Palmer, born in 1881 in What Cheer, Iowa.
Without this ONE man, it is very likely that the Chiropractic profession would not be here today.
B.J. was FIRST in so many areas—establishing SPECIFIC Chiropractic, advancing instrumentation, creating a Chiropractic research clinic (BJPCC), and pioneering the use of radio, television, and many other innovations to share the Chiropractic message with the world.
Today, buildings carry your name. People carry your name. Your image is used in marketing, education, and promotion. Yet few have carried the burdens you carried or faced the opposition you faced while going against the grain and confronting the “monster.”
Your consistency, insistency, and persistency helped preserve and advance the principle of HOW and WHERE to get sick people well.
B.J., we thank you for your courage, sacrifice, vision, and remarkable accomplishments. The Chiropractic profession—and the world—is truly a healthier place in which to live because you lived.
Happy Birthday, B.J. Palmer—the Developer of Chiropractic!
