Today we honor and remember Dr. B.J. Palmer on the anniversary of his passing — May 27, 1961.
B.J. Palmer was far more than a historical figure in Chiropractic. He is more than just a bust in the courtyard at Palmer. He was a visionary, an innovator, a teacher, and a relentless leader who helped shape Chiropractic into a worldwide profession.
Known as the “Developer of Chiropractic,” Dr. Palmer advanced the profession through philosophy, scientific exploration, upper cervical research, public education, X-ray utilization, neurocalograph instrumentation, and powerful communication that inspired generations of Chiropractors to think bigger.
He challenged the world to understand the importance of Innate Intelligence, the nervous system and the impact Vertebral Subluxation has on human health and potential.
Because of his dedication and vision:
• Millions have been introduced to Chiropractic Care
• Thousands of Chiropractors found purpose and direction
• Upper Cervical work continued to evolve and advance
• The profession continues to grow across the globe
Today, we do not simply remember the day he passed.
We remember what he built.
We remember what he stood for.
We remember the vision he carried for humanity and health.
“Get the idea and ALL else follows.”
Thank you, Dr. B.J. Palmer, for your leadership, sacrifice, and lifelong contribution to Chiropractic.
