🚨 Advocacy Update: Help End the Multiple Procedure Payment Reduction (MPPR)

Why does this matter? MPPR reduces payment for therapy services when multiple procedures are provided during the same visit, despite the clinical value and necessity of comprehensive care.

Repealing MPPR would not only support fair reimbursement for occupational therapy services under Medicare, but could also influence state Medicaid programs and commercial insurers that often follow Medicare payment policies.

Now is the time to make our voices heard! Grassroots advocacy will be critical to advancing this legislation and ensuring policymakers understand the value of occupational therapy.

πŸ“’ Contact your member of Congress today through AOTA's Legislative Action Center and help advocate for fair payment policies that support practitioners and the clients we serve.
