Bob Ziegler

Bob Ziegler, born September 30, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 76.

Bob retired from Keebler Bakery and enjoyed fishing and working with his hands. He was an exceptional handyman who loved fixing things and helping others.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Micki Ziegler; his daughter, Cathryn (Kevin) Kral; and his brother, Ronald (Tina) Ziegler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myril and Virginia Ziegler; his daughter, Denise Ziegler; and his brother, James Ziegler.

Eva Amburgy

Eva Amburgy, of South Lebanon, passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 70.

Eva is survived by her daughters, Robin Amburgy-Heard of Lebanon and Carol Resivour of Springboro; her grandchildren, Kevin Amburgy and Tyler Amburgy; and her brother, Jimmy Amburgy of South Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Tiny Amburgy, and her sister, Margaret Amburgy.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Deerfield Cemetery, located at 594 Shawhan Road, South Lebanon, Ohio 45065.

In Loving Memory of Ryan Daniel Phillips

November 10, 1979 – October 26, 2026

Ryan Daniel Phillips, affectionately known as Dan or Danny, passed away on October 23, 2026. Born on November 10, 1979, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Danny is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Cynthia Ellen Smith. He is survived by his his sister, Sarah Rashid, who lovingly knew him as “Bub.” The bond between a brother and sister is one of a kind, and the loss of Danny leaves an immeasurable emptiness in her heart. He will forever be remembered as her brother, her Bub, and a part of her heart that can never be replaced.

Danny was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He had a big heart, a gift for conversation, and a way of making people laugh. He loved to talk, share a laugh, and spend time with the people around him. He was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, and his generosity and humor made him someone people will never forget.

When he wasn't talking, laughing, or spending time with others, Danny enjoyed being outdoors. He especially loved fishing and appreciated the simple joys of being outside. His beloved dog, Opie, held a special place in his heart and was a cherished companion

Though his time here has come to an end, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Danny will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

Rest peacefully, Danny. Until we meet again, you will always be my Bub. You were loved more than words can say, and you will never be forgotten

Michael Fannin

Michael Fannin, born on July 9, 1955, in Bethel, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 71.

Michael retired from GE and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his son, Micah (Julia) Fannin; his grandchildren, Georgia Fannin and Jackson Fannin; his father, Charles Fannin; his sister, Rebecca Quinlan; his niece, Nikki (Johnny) Finger; and his nephew, Sean (Audra) Quinlan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Fannin.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with family and friends received an hour prior, at Megie Funeral Home, 529 Main Street, Milford, Ohio 45150.

Marchelle D. Bertram

Marchelle D. Bertram passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 62. Born in Covington, Kentucky, to the late Gordon and Dolores Morehead, Marchelle touched the lives of many. She enjoyed cooking and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She also worked for the United States Postal Service.

Marchelle is survived by her daughter, Whitney Bertram; her brother, Glen Morehead; and her nieces and nephew, Megan Gainnes, Kelsey Morehead, and Jarred Morehead.

There are no services at this time.

Joyce Ann Carnes

Joyce Ann Carnes, age 88, of Lerado, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Laurels of Blanchester. She was born on April 20, 1938, in Blanchester, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hoadley and Louise (née Hatch) Hawk. Currently an angel but previously a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Joyce was an active member of Lerado Church of Christ. She loved traveling and spending time with friends and family. She loved her pets and was always feeding the wild animals. Joyce was a graduate of Owensville High School and retired from Siemens in Norwood.

Joyce is survived by her son, William (Denise) Carnes; her daughter, Kathy (Bill) Macik; four grandchildren: Michael (Casey Biondo) Rooks, Amy (Ronald) Humphries, Tara (Alek) Thorson and James Carnes; four great-grandchildren: Aaron Rooks, Gage and Ethan Humphries, and Greyson Rooks; and one great-great-grandchild, Bentley Humphries.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Pamela Denney; her youngest son, Timothy Carnes; great-great-grandson, Kash Humphries; and her brother, Robert Hawk.
