What is unresolved trauma? ๐
Unresolved trauma doesn't always look the way people think. It maybe will show up as difficulty trusting others, feeling constantly on edge, avoiding certain situations, emotional numbness, trouble sleeping, anxiety, or intense reactions to everyday stress.
Trauma can impact the way we think, feel, relate to others, and respond to challenges. Sometimes these reactions are not noticeable. You may not even realize that past experiences are still affecting your daily life.
Healing is possible and it doesn't mean forgetting what happened. Healing means we are learning how to move forward in a way that feels safe, healthy, and manageable.
