Repair does not always begin with a big breakthrough.
Sometimes it begins with one person choosing not to shut down.
One person deciding to listen instead of defend.
One person being willing to say, “I want to understand.”
One person leaving just enough room for the conversation to continue.
Humility does not mean ignoring what hurt.
It means being willing to make space for honesty, responsibility, and change.
Sometimes the first step toward reconnection is simply this:
Leave the door open.
