There is something incredibly healing about getting your hands in the soil, sharing stories, and finding connection with others who understand grief.

On Saturday, June 6, family, friends, and community members came together to honor a Hope Hospice Center patient while raising awareness for esophageal cancer.

Partners In Home Care was honored to support this meaningful event through the efforts of our Hope Hospice Center team and Volunteer Coordinator, Quinn. From coordinating volunteers to arranging a special visit from Monte, the Griz mascot, every detail helped make the day memorable for those in attendance.

Guests also had the opportunity to leave messages of encouragement in a personalized sign-in book created for the patient and their loved ones.

With beautiful weather, strong community support, and countless heartfelt moments, the event was a powerful reminder of the compassion, connection, and care that hospice brings—not only to patients, but to the families and communities who walk alongside them.
