Fun fact: Over 6 million visitors attend Oktoberfest in Germany each year.

While we didn't quite reach 6 million, we did have a full HOUSE. This week at Hallworth House, we celebrated Oktoberfest with pretzels and cold brews- regular, non-alcoholic, and even root b**r, for those who wanted something a little sweeter. A festive time for all! CHEERS!

This week at Hallsworth House, we celebrated Italian Heritage! We kicked off the day with a friendly game of Bocce! Our incredible cook prepared an Italian feast, serving rigatoni and meatballs, green beans, garlic bread....and Tiramisu for dessert! We enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with Italian coffee, biscotti, Italian music, and fascinating facts, filling the room with joy and laughter! That's amore! 💚🤍❤️

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our beautiful women. ❤️

The fun began with a fall craft, where the ladies used their creativity to decorate beautiful hats for the season. The next day, we enjoyed a special Day of Beauty, complete with makeup, pictures, and plenty of smiles!

Afterward, everyone gathered for a lovely social with tea and delicious desserts. Even a few of our gentlemen stopped by to enjoy some of the goodies!

It truly was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, friendship, and beautiful memories. A heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing staff and volunteers who pitched in to make this possible. What a wonderful example of teamwork!

Thankful for a wonderful Friday, beginning with our monthly visit from Albany, who brings so much joy and happiness to all of our Hallsworth family. ❤️

We also had the blessing of an uplifting worship service with Pastor Larry from Bridges Hospice. His words, prayers, and presence brought comfort and encouragement to our hearts.

Feeling especially grateful today for these moments of love, joy, faith, and family. ❤️
