🌟 HOSA Leadership in Action! 🌟

Our Health Occupations 2 HOSA officers traveled to Columbia, Missouri, on October 12–13 to attend the Missouri HOSA Leadership Conference! 💙❤️

During their time there, they met Missouri HOSA State Officers, participated in five leadership workshops covering teamwork, conflict resolution, delegation, and effective leadership, and learned about the importance of organ donation and its impact on patients and families.

They also worked together to set goals, brainstorm fundraising ideas, and plan ways to strengthen our HOSA chapter and create more opportunities for members.

We are so proud of these students for taking the initiative to grow as leaders and bring new ideas back to our chapter! We can’t wait to see what they accomplish! 🩺👏

Kicking Off HOSA at SRTC!

We are excited to kick off a new year of HOSA: Future Health Professionals and introduce our SRTC Health Occupations HOSA Chapter Officers! 🎉

HOSA: Future Health Professionals (formerly Health Occupations Students of America) is a national career and technical student organization dedicated to preparing students for careers in healthcare. Through HOSA, students have opportunities to develop leadership skills, build confidence, explore healthcare careers, participate in conferences and competitions, and connect what they are learning in the classroom to the healthcare profession.

We are so pleased to introduce our HOSA officers and share a little bit about each of them! 🩺✨

🎉 We are kicking things off with our elected 2026–2027 HOSA Chapter President, Lizett Aldava! 🎉

Lizett will help lead our HOSA chapter throughout the school year, represent our Health Occupations program, and encourage her fellow students as they explore their futures in healthcare. We are excited to see her step into this leadership role and can't wait to see all she accomplishes this year!

Please join us in congratulating Lizett Aldava, our 2026–2027 SRTC Health Occupations HOSA President!

Stay tuned as we introduce the rest of our amazing HOSA officers! 👏🩺

We are excited to watch this group grow as leaders, build confidence, challenge themselves, and represent Scott Regional Technology Center at HOSA conferences and competitions!

🫀🔬 Health Occupations is excited to introduce our new Anatomage Table! 🔬🫀

We are thrilled to bring this incredible technology into our classroom! The Anatomage Table gives our students an interactive, hands-on way to explore the human body and gain a deeper understanding of anatomy.

Students can virtually explore the body from the inside out, examine detailed anatomical structures, and view X-rays and CT scans. The table also includes realistic simulations and clinical experiences, including childbirth, catheterizations, and many other medical procedures and scenarios.

This technology will give our Health Occupations students an amazing opportunity to connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world healthcare experiences. 🩺❤️

We are SO excited to have this resource in our classroom and can't wait to see our students learn, explore, and discover all that the human body has to offer! 🧠🫁🫀🦴
