Help us keep our resident boutique stocked with everyday essentials and special items our residents love!

We are currently accepting donations of:

👖 Men's pants (jeans, sweatpants, shorts) – all sizes
🧦 Men's and women's socks
👔 Men's and women's belts
🌙 Men's and women's pajamas – all sizes and styles

🧴 Hygiene Products:
• Deodorant
• Body wash
• Shampoo & conditioner
• Toothbrushes & toothpaste
• Hair brushes & combs
• Hair ties, hair bands & hair clips

Your generous donations help make shopping at our **Boutique on the Terrace** a fun and rewarding experience for our residents!

💰 **How it Works**
Residents earn **Bingo Bucks** by participating in activities, events, and programs throughout the community. The more activities they enjoy, the more Bingo Bucks they earn to shop in our boutique!

✨ Spend them or save them — Bingo Bucks never expire! ✨

This program is a wonderful way to encourage activity participation, social engagement, and meaningful experiences for your loved ones while rewarding them with the opportunity to "shop" for items they need and enjoy.

We’re stepping into a new month here at Oakwood Terrace, and with it comes fresh sunshine, warm days, and plenty of moments to enjoy together. June is a time for new memories, outdoor smiles, and celebrating the simple joys of community living.

Today at Oakwood Terrace, we came together to celebrate friendship, community, and the freedoms we enjoy because of the brave men and women who served our country. 🇺🇸❤️

As we continue reflecting on Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who sacrificed so much for our nation and remember those who are no longer with us. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful outdoor cookout filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments shared together under the sunshine. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate life, community, and the values that bring us together.

We’re excited to introduce our new Bingo Bucks (Life Enrichment Dollars)!

Each game we play gives residents the chance to earn Bingo Bucks as a fun reward for participation and engagement. These Bucks can then be saved and used to “shop” at our monthly Boutique, featuring a variety of care products, small gifts, and room decor that the residents can choose from.

This new program adds even more excitement to our activities while encouraging social interaction, participation, and a little friendly competition along the way.

We can’t wait to see everyone start earning and spending their Bingo Bucks at our upcoming Boutique days!

🍝❤️Today’s Lunch at Oakwood Terrace❤️🍝

Today, all of our residents enjoyed a delicious and comforting Italian favorite — Veal Parmesan with Pasta and Mixed Vegetables!

Tender breaded veal was topped with savory marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan, then served over pasta with a colorful blend of mixed vegetables. It was a hearty, home-cooked meal that brought warmth, comfort, and smiles to our dining room. 😊

At Oakwood Terrace, we believe that sharing a great meal is one of life’s simple joys. Our Dietary Team works hard each day to prepare meals that are both nutritious and delicious for our residents to enjoy.

Veal Parmesan with Pasta and Mixed Vegetables
Ingredients
4 breaded veal cutlets
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 ounces pasta (elbow macaroni or your favorite shape)
4 cups mixed vegetables (green beans, carrots, peas, and corn)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions
1️⃣ Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F.
3️⃣ Place the breaded veal cutlets in a baking dish. Top with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
4️⃣ Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5️⃣ Steam the mixed vegetables until tender. Toss with butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
6️⃣ Serve the veal over pasta with extra marinara sauce and mixed vegetables on the side.
7️⃣ Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
