When I tell you this has been one of the absolute hardest seasons of my life yet I am the most equipped I have ever been and still, I’m struggling. .
You can have all the tools at your disposal and still be brought to your knees.
I’d be lying if I said I’m certain we’ll pull through. .
What I am certain of is:
My resilience
My ability to communicate
My coping skills
My readiness for growth
My faith in the universe and the balance it operates in

I don’t know when this season will end. I do know there IS an end. It’s not my job to know when peace will be restored, when we will reach a plateau up this proverbial mountain.
It’s my job to trust myself and to listen to me. It’s my job to praise my hard work. It’s my job to keep showing up.

Everyone will struggle. That is the reality of life. You cannot avoid hardships. You CAN trust your ability to weather the storm. One wave at a time, one foot in front of the other.

Reflecting on 38 years.
I’m so proud of me.
I want to celebrate all the times I battled resistance, all the times I didn’t quit, all the times I chose the path less traveled.
In work
In life
In my daily habits
Consistency pays off people. Not in the big ways-in the quiet, unexpected ways.
Since December, life has been fu***ng trying me. I’ve been brought to my knees, sobbed, screamed in these past 6 months more times than I can count. It is in these times where I have seen my consistency and choosing the hard, pay off.
I truly believe that if I hadn’t done the work-these past 6 months would’ve broken me. Instead, I’m pausing and reflecting, giving praise when I can and grace when I can’t. I’m growing-like real soul growth. And I am just so proud of me.
39 will be amazing and challenging. It will be my last year in my 30s which I truly believe was ✨my✨ decade. I cannot wait.

Grams, you were one in a million. Your heart, work ethic, resilience, humility-there is no one like you.
Grateful for all my time I got to spend with you and learn. Blessed to have been named after you, had my daughters name carry on the tradition, and then named my business after you. .
What an honor it was to know you and now, to show up for clients daily, while honoring your name🐝

1 year. 365 days. Countless hours.
All spent healing, crying, and laughing in this office.
Proud of myself for listening to and trusting ME- that my clients and I deserved more.

Do it scared, do it without knowing the outcome, do it despite what others might think, do it BECAUSE it’s hard. You will find the best rewards at the end of those tunnels.

I cannot find the words to properly explain these past couple days except grateful, excited, and resilient.
Grateful I was able to get into ANY race for the princess weekend.
Excited to have seen my girlies from 🫶🏼 who knew one accountability post 6 years ago could turn into life long friendships!
Resilient, because well let’s just say managing 3 businesses while trying to have a vacation has been 😬

One thing about me is that I have 🎀LEARNED🎀 to love my habit tracking and routines.

I didn’t start out like this. 2018 was an extremely challenging year and I knew I needed to change the way that I was living my life. I stumbled across bullet journaling and figured I might as well give something new a try.

Over the years, I have come to love the routine and stability that I have created through habit formation and habit stacking. The consistency in these routines has allowed my nervous system to heal. It has brought me out of debt. It has made me a healthier individual. I have achieved so many of my 🌸wildest dreams🌸.

It takes time and consistency. This has been YEARS in the making. Without a doubt I can tell you, it’s what’s saved me these past 8 weeks.

With all the ups and downs of the world, the heaviness of my sessions, trials and tribulations in my family and personal life. I’ve come back to my routine and habits every single time. I’ve built comfort there.

I share this because a lot of times I get statements from clients or friends/family eluding to how “easy” it is for me to do/accomplish tasks. This isn’t easy most times, however, choosing myself is the only option. I’ve built self trust from these small habits, which has lent itself to building self worth, ultimately forming into what is now self love.

Today doesn’t have to be the Sunday scaries.
Hear me out. Any time spent away from a routine, filled with endless dopamine surges, I.e Christmas cookies, time with family, time off work, shopping, drinks etc. can feel really scary the night before having to return to said routine.

Reduce your vulnerability TO the fear by CHOOSING to do things that you know make you feel good! Today I’m choosing:

🥦meal prepping so I have good food to carry me through the week-one less thing I need to think about when I might feel overloaded while returning to my routine
🏃‍♀️moving my body, allowing these extra emotions to move through my body
💦getting in 80oz of water (help purge myself of those Christmas cookies 😂)
👗choosing outfits for the week that I know are tried and true (again reducing the amount of decisions I need to make 😉
🏡resetting the house tonight-10 min speed clean before bed to wake up with a tidy home

Remember, routine benefits us ALL. The emotions you feel today are your body communicating with your brain that something feels different. It’s assessing the return to the routine it as danger when in reality, it’s only a shift back to what is familiar. You got this 🤗

🌟Intention with building my meals: protein forward
⛄️Showing up on here more for visibility for clients

All in all: Mindfulness is the name of the game for December. Paying attention to the present moment on purpose.
The only “limit” I’m placing on myself is the 30 minutes of movement for the 31 days of December.
I want to really focus on enjoying this holiday season. It’s been a year of challenges and a year of celebrations.
