💐 What’s more beautiful than flowers? Someone giving their time and love to brighten someone else’s day! 💕

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, patients at MCCH’s Regional Cancer Center received a special dose of kindness from the residents of Charter Senior Living of Murray!

These sweet residents handcrafted beautiful flower bouquets and encouraging bracelets, spreading smiles, hope, and a little extra sunshine to those undergoing cancer treatment. 💗

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the residents and staff of Charter Senior Living for sharing your time, talents, and love with our patients. Your thoughtful gestures are a beautiful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a BIG difference! 💐💕

We enjoyed being part of the MSU Health & Benefits Fair! 💙💛

Several of our departments and clinics were on hand to connect with MSU faculty and staff, share information about our services, and provide free health screenings.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit with our teams from Murray Pediatrics, Murray Medical Associates, MSU Health Services, Regional Cancer Center, Rehab Services, Wellness Works, Occupational Medicine, Center for Health and Wellness, and MCCH Marketing. Murray-Calloway County Hospital (MCCH) was proud to serve as the Title Sponsor of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library's Read & Treat event, hosted by the United Way of Murray-Calloway County at the Calloway County Public Library!

The event raised funds to help provide postage and shipping materials for books delivered to approximately 963 children in Calloway County! 📖

At MCCH, we believe investing in literacy and inspiring young minds helps build a healthier, stronger community for generations to come. After all, today's little readers could be tomorrow's healthcare heroes! 💙

Congratulations to Sarah Johnston, MCCH's September Employee of the Month! 🌟

Sarah has been a dedicated CNA with our hospice team for over 10 years, bringing compassion, kindness, and comfort to patients and families during some of life's most difficult moments.

Known for her special "spa nights" at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House, Sarah goes above and beyond to help patients look and feel their best. From haircuts and styling to manicures and makeup, her thoughtful gestures help restore confidence, dignity, and a sense of normalcy.

Sarah's caring heart, positive attitude, and dedication to others make her an invaluable part of the MCCH family.

💗 Supporting Women & Inspiring Wellness at Every Stage of Life

We were proud to have Dr. Abby Dowdy, Clinical Psychologist at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, represent MCCH as one of four featured panelists at the KY Lake Chamber of Commerce Women's Health Luncheon!

Dr. Dowdy shared valuable insights on the importance of prioritizing mental health through every stage of a woman's life. She encouraged women to recognize changes in their emotional and mental well-being, pay attention to symptoms that may signal underlying health concerns, and never hesitate to seek help when something doesn't feel right.

We are grateful to Dr. Dowdy for sharing her expertise, representing MCCH, and continuing to advocate for mental health awareness and the overall well-being of women in our community!
