🚨🔥 BBQ for Badges 2026 🔥🚨

Last week at Addington Place of Muscatine, we had the honor of hosting our annual BBQ for Badges event, and what an incredible day it was!

We were proud to serve lunch to more than 50 first responders who work tirelessly every day to keep our community safe. From law enforcement and firefighters to EMS and emergency personnel, we are beyond grateful for their dedication, sacrifice, and compassion.

Thank you for everything you do for our community. It was our privilege to give back, share a meal, and show our appreciation for the heroes among us. ❤️🤍💙

Addington Place of Muscatine is proud to share that we raised $1,000 for TTT Chapter GH!

TTT Chapter GH is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young girls attend summer camp experiences that build confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships. We are honored to support our local TTT Chapter GH and the meaningful impact they continue to make in our community.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported this effort and helped make a difference. Community partnerships and giving back are at the heart of what we do, and we are proud to support organizations that invest in the future of young people.

💙🌻MEET OUR EXECUTIVE CHEF 🌻💙

Samantha Harris, known to many as Sam, has been a dedicated member of the Addington Place of Muscatine team since 2017. Throughout her time with the community, she has taken on a variety of roles, gaining valuable experience and becoming an integral part of daily operations. She also serves as the Executive Chef, where she takes great pride in preparing meals and creating enjoyable, high-quality dining experiences for residents.

Sam brings a positive attitude and strong passion to her work, often saying she considers Addington Place her home away from home. She is deeply committed to making each resident’s day brighter and consistently strives to give her very best in everything she does. Her willingness to help, support others, and go above and beyond makes her a trusted and valued team member among both residents and staff. In addition to her work within the community, Sam enjoys traveling and supporting other sister communities when needed.

Outside of work, Sam is a proud mother of three beautiful daughters—Izabella, Elleana, and Maliaya. She cherishes spending time with her family and appreciates the unique personalities each of her daughters brings into her life.
