My house is filled with more than 700 items from our Amazon wishlist for those who have been devastated by Hurricane Ian, and it’s ready to be delivered.

The items include: 72 fleece blankets, crib, toiletry items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorants, hairbrushes, pads, diapers, kiddie cups, paper towels , toilet paper, cereal, mops, sponges, toys, and many more items.

Thank you from bottom of my heart to all who donated! The link below is included for additional items still needed for a lot of these families. Will make lots of deliveries this weekend for Harlem Heights/Linda Loma/ Dunbar area.

Dear SlimNow MD friends,
I hope you are all doing well during these difficult times.
Although we had limited office hours in the month of April, this week, we are officially back to our normal office hours at all our locations. We are seeing patients with appointments only, no walk-ins at this time in order to limit the number of patients in the office. We understand most of you are frustrated with the weight gain, but as always we will help you get back to your healthy weight. If you have left us a voicemail or an email, we will be calling you in the next 24 hours.
We apologize for the delay to reply back to you, as we try our best to accommodate your appointment requests and follow CDC’s recommendations.
Also, please try to use your house bathroom prior to coming to our office, and refrain from going to the public bathrooms.

Dear SlimNow MD patients,
We are still seeing limited number of patients in the office, as we are transitioning to our telemedicine process. But if you have any cold like symptoms, please do not come to your appointment as you need to stay home, and we will do a phone consultation. If you have any questions, please Facebook message us, or call the main line at 239-325-8328. As always, I am here if any of you have any questions about any health concerns in related to this virus, especially for the ones who don’t have a primary care doctor.

Also, we are collecting canned goods for the homeless and the low income elderly, and the kids who were getting their only meal in school. Please bring it by our office and we will gladly donate it to Community Cooperative, an amazing nonprofit organization that’s distributing the items to kids and families.
