🛒 Great news for Michigan WIC families!

Eligible Michigan WIC participants can now use their WIC benefits for online grocery purchases at Meijer with curbside pickup or home delivery.

This new option makes it even more convenient for families to access healthy foods.

If you don't have a whole-house air filter or portable air cleaner, a DIY box fan air filter can help improve your indoor air quality during smoky conditions.

💧 How much water should you drink during a heat wave? ☀

There isn't one number that works for everyone. Your body needs more fluids when it's hot, especially if you're working or exercising outdoors.

Rather than focusing on a specific number:

✔ Drink water regularly throughout the day.
✔ Don't wait until you're thirsty.
✔ Increase your fluid intake if you're sweating.
✔ Check your urine—it should generally be pale yellow.

During a heat advisory, staying ahead of dehydration is one of the best ways to help prevent heat-related illness.
