At MERCI Clinic, we know that health is more than medical care—it is safety, dignity, and hope. That's why we are honored to stand alongside organizations that care for our community's most vulnerable neighbors.

The Coastal Center for Hope & Healing provides free, confidential support to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other violent crimes. Their services include emergency shelter, advocacy, crisis intervention, safety planning, court accompaniment, counseling referrals, and prevention education. They are committed to helping survivors find safety, healing, and hope.

Proudly serving Craven, Jones, and Pamlico counties, their dedicated team is available 24/7 for those who need them most.

This week, our amazing summer volunteer refreshed our bulletin board with important information on summer safety and self-care. From staying hydrated and protecting your skin to managing stress and making time for wellness, these resources help our patients and visitors stay healthy all season long.

Small actions can have a big impact. A colorful bulletin board may seem simple, but it can spark conversations, provide encouragement, and empower someone to take charge of their health.

Did you know MERCI Clinic has been serving our community since 1996?

For nearly 30 years, MERCI Clinic has provided free and charitable medical and dental care to uninsured and underinsured individuals in our community. What began as a mission to help neighbors in need has grown into a vital healthcare safety net for eastern North Carolina.

Through the dedication of volunteers, staff, donors, and community partners, thousands of patients have received compassionate, quality care close to home.

Thank you to everyone who has supported MERCI Clinic over the years and helped us continue this important work. Together, we are improving lives and strengthening our community every day.

A busy day of compassionate care at MERCI Clinic!

Today our Medical, Orthopedic, and Dental clinics were all running, helping provide high-quality care to our neighbors in need. Our van was on the move, and our friendly lab partner was hard at work transporting lab specimens for processing.

Every patient served is a reminder of what community partnership and compassion can accomplish together. Thank you to our volunteers, staff, and supporters who make days like this possible! 💙

Join us for MERCI on Middle, an elevated outdoor food, wine, and bourbon experience where every dollar raised supports our Clinic's mission.

On November 8, Middle Street will transform into a vibrant evening featuring local restaurants, curated beverage experiences including a tasting by Weldon Mills Distillery, live music from I-42 Band, a live auction, and meaningful impact.
