🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

There’s still plenty of time to show your support! Throughout the month of October, you can purchase a pink ribbon in honor or memory of a loved one. Ribbons will be displayed at Pointe Coupee General Hospital as a symbol of hope, strength, and support for those affected by breast cancer.

Ribbons are available for purchase in the hospital Gift Shop or at the desk in the Radiology waiting room.

Together, we can spread awareness and remind those facing breast cancer that they are never alone. 💕

After 41 years of dedicated service to the Pointe Coupee community, we congratulate Dr. Donald Doucet, FACP, on his well-deserved retirement! 👏💙

Throughout his remarkable career, Dr. Doucet has cared for generations of patients while serving Pointe Coupee General Hospital in numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Staff and Medical Director. His commitment to medicine, leadership and service has made a lasting impact on healthcare in our community.

“His contributions to the Pointe Coupee healthcare community have been invaluable,” said PCGH CEO Chad Olinde.

Dr. Doucet shared that caring for his community and building relationships with his patients has been both a pleasure and an honor.
