Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful performance of music with Craig Blackstad, who performed a fantastic tribute to Alan Jackson! Residents were smiling, singing along, and sharing conversations with friends throughout the performance. It was heartwarming to see so much joy in the room, with staff even joining in the fun and dancing along. Thank you, Craig, for an unforgettable event filled with music, memories, and smiles!

Today is Labor Day and we honor and celebrate the dedication, hard work, and contributions of workers across our country. Labor Day is a time to recognize the people who strengthen our communities, care for others, and make a difference every day.

We are especially grateful for our incredible team members whose compassion, commitment, and service help create a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and families.

Our residents had a wonderful time on a recent outing to Walmart! With beautiful sunny weather, it was a great day to get out, shop, and enjoy time together.

Residents had fun browsing the aisles, picking up personal items, and spending time with friends along the way. Seeing their excitement and helping them find what they needed made the outing even more special.

It's days like these that create meaningful moments, foster independence, and bring lots of joy to our community.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and warm conversations at Ridgeway on German recently as one of our talented residents volunteered to lead a painting class.

On a beautiful sunny day, participants gathered to paint, connect, and enjoy being creative together. To make things even more fun, the winner received a special prize: a fresh peach from the resident who led the class!

Thank you to our resident instructor for sharing their talents and helping create such a memorable experience. It's moments like these that make our community so special.

What a wonderful time we had celebrating our August birthdays at Ridgeway on 23rd! Residents, families, and visitors gathered together for a special birthday party filled with music, laughter, and great conversation.

A special thank you to Avon Acres for sharing their beautiful piano talents and providing a delightful performance that filled the room with joy. Smiling faces could be seen everywhere as guests enjoyed cake, ice cream, and a special beverage of their choice while spending time with friends and neighbors.

One of our residents' great-granddaughters attended the performance and truly made everyone's day with her radiant smile. We were also happy to welcome visitors who joined us for the celebration and shared how much they enjoyed the party.

Birthdays are always a highlight of the month, and this celebration was a wonderful reminder of the connections, friendships, and special moments that make our community so unique.

Some Ridgeway at German residents recently had an outing to Cash Wise Foods! From picking up favorite snacks and everyday necessities to exploring the aisles and visiting with friends, everyone had a great time shopping and spending time together.

Our team loved assisting residents throughout the trip, and the afternoon ended on a sweet note with a few scoops of ice cream.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and special memories made along the way. Another fun day on the books!

Residents at both our German and 23rd locations recently enjoyed a fun time of games and friendly competition, including ping pong ball toss, skee-ball, duck matching, and ring toss. There were plenty of opportunities to win prizes, from a refreshing pop to larger rewards and raffle giveaways.

The excitement continued with a popcorn basket raffle, where residents guessed the number of poker chips in a bucket, and a special drawing for a cozy blanket. Most importantly, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and joy as residents came together to enjoy time with friends and make lasting memories.

At Vista Prairie at Ridgeway, every resident is a winner! Days like these remind us of the wonderful community we share.
