🌿💧 The Power of Purpose 💧🌿

Today we spent some time outdoors watering our plants, but it was about so much more than helping flowers grow. Activities like caring for plants give our residents a sense of purpose, responsibility, and connection to the world around them.

A special thank you to Runnings New Ulm for generously donating more flowers to our community, and to the family members who help maintain our garden beds. Your support creates meaningful opportunities for our residents to stay engaged, contribute, and experience the joy that comes from nurturing something beautiful.

Together, you’re helping our residents find purpose in the little things and pride in helping our community bloom. 🌸🌿☀️

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage, service, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

At Prairie Cottages, we are especially grateful for the veterans, families, and generations who have carried the weight of service and sacrifice. Today, we reflect with thankful hearts for the freedoms we enjoy and the heroes who made them possible.

May we honor their legacy not only in remembrance, but in the kindness, compassion, and gratitude we show one another every day. ❤️🤍💙

Our residents have been loving our new Tover projector! ✨ It’s been a wonderful interactive tool that brings people together through games, activities, movement, and shared moments of joy. We love seeing the laughter, connection, and engagement it brings to our community every day! 💛

What an amazing year it has been with Lahni as our intern at Prairie Cottages! Today we celebrated the ending of her internship by heading into the community and spreading random acts of kindness.

Lahni has been such a blessing to our team from helping with activities to learning the behind-the-scenes of assisted living and marketing. We hope the skills and experiences gained at Prairie Cottages help you continue to grow and excel in your future. We are so proud of you, Lahni!
