THROUGH THE LENS – JOHANNA KIRSCH

Introducing Through The Lens, an ongoing creative series inviting photographers and artists to interpret MYKITA through their own visual language.

For the first instalment, photographer Johanna Kirsch follows Elke Biesendorf through Berlin, drawing on the city’s distinctive architecture and the cinematic atmosphere of Wim Wenders’ Wings of Desire.

Moving between shifting light and shadow, the series explores the space between inner and outer worlds, with MYKITA eyewear from the current collection.

Photography: Johanna Kirsch
Featuring: Elke Biesendorf

Female Archetypes

The elegant cat-eye, butterfly frames and oversized geometric shapes find new relevance through lighter, more refined constructions.

MYKITA reinterprets these familiar archetypes in ultra-light stainless steel. Precision engineering replaces heaviness, while subtle colour accents and lacquered inlays add richness without compromising the purity of the design.

Available now online and in stores worldwide.
