Enjoy a look back at the Annual White Mass. 🎥

From the moving service at St. Patrick's Cathedral to the fellowship that followed, this recap video by The Good Newsroom reflects the heart of our healthcare ministry.

We are profoundly grateful to Archbishop Ronald Hicks for his leadership and support, and to everyone who helps make our healthcare apostolates places of true "oneness." To the doctors, nurses, therapists, religious sisters, and donors who put faith into action every day - thank you for caring for the body, soul, heart, and mind.

A beautiful afternoon honoring true servants of comfort and healing. ✨

Following the White Mass, we hosted a reception to celebrate this year's honorees: The Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm and their incredible legacy at the Mary Manning Walsh Home.

Since establishing the home in 1952, the Sisters have seamlessly blended physical, emotional, and spiritual care. Whether pioneering groundbreaking rehabilitation systems in the 1950s or opening the Emerald Terrace sanctuary in 2025, they have spent generations proving that the twilight years can be full of joy, dignity, and life.

Thank you to the Carmelite Sisters for your enduring heart, focus, and dedication to our community's most vulnerable.

Thank you to everyone from ArchCare and other local healthcare organizations who joined us yesterday for a wonderful and meaningful Annual White Mass. It was an exceptional day spent recognizing the dedication of healthcare professionals and caregivers across New York.

A very special thank you to His Excellency Archbishop Ronald A. Hicks, for inspiring us with his words of support and encouragement to the healthcare community.

As Scott LaRue noted during his remarks:
"In a time when healthcare is often measured by systems, metrics, algorithms and scarcity, today reminds us that healing still begins with presence: one person caring for another. The work of caring represented in this Cathedral is not easy... This work is holy."
Thank you for the important message, Scott.

To the teams who make our nursing homes feel like home, every single day. Every day, you bring comfort, connection, and dignity those we serve across New York. Your care creates community, healing, and moments that matter for residents and families alike.

It takes a special person to dedicate their life to caring for others.❤️ This year at our Annual White Mass, we are coming together to say "thank you" to all our healthcare workers, the doctors, nurses and aides, who are the heartbeat of our community.

We are especially excited to honor a very special group: the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm at Mary Manning Walsh. While these wonderful Sisters serve in many of our ArchCare communities, their 74-year legacy at Mary Manning Walsh has touched countless lives with love and dignity. They truly represent the best of what it means to care for our neighbors.

Please join us and the Most Reverend Archbishop Ronald A. Hicks at St. Patrick’s Cathedral as we celebrate these heroes.
