My HRT journey as a 51-year-old… ✨UPDATE✨.

I’m sharing this because you ask — and I also want to normalize that what you’re originally put on may need to shift until you find the precise dosage + combination that makes YOU feel your best.

And sometimes the adjustments needed are lifestyle-based too… not solely HRT.

Because your beautiful body, hormones, stress/cortisol, and lifestyle are not static.

UPDATE:
I was still getting night sweats + waking up throughout the night even while on my bioidentical hormones: 100 mg progesterone + a 0.025 estrogen patch.

And yes… I was already doing all the lifestyle foundations that support sleep because optimizing sleep actually starts in the DAYTIME. ☀️

For me that looks like:
• sunlight first thing in the morning
• matcha before 11 a.m.
• 12k steps daily
• strength workouts
• balanced nutrition
• skipping alcohol (most of the time!)
• nervous system support
• sauna + cold plunge weekly
• meditation + PEMF mat
• ashwagandha
• magnesium nightly

Everything worked for maybe 2+ weeks… then stopped.

Brought my symptoms back to my provider and we adjusted both my progesterone to 200 mg nightly + increased my estrogen patch to 0.05.

I also added a NEW triple magnesium supplement and increased to 450 mg.

FINALLY… I’m sleeping through the night again. 🙌

Testosterone:
Still on a small amount of bioidentical testosterone cream — and I ADORE it. ENERGY, motivation, mental clarity, stronger workouts = YES!

I pair all the above with lifestyle pieces as my FOUNDATION.

Easiest Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Chicken + 2 Minute Prep!

Busy moms, we see you. The end-of-year chaos is real. SIMPLIFY.

After coaching thousands of women over the past 12+ years, this is one of those go-to recipes that clients come back to —and us! It takes about 2 minutes to prep, is packed with protein and flavor, and makes healthy eating feel effortless during the busiest weeks.

It’s also a perfect example of how a little planning can set you up for success. Double the recipe so you have plenty of leftovers for lunches and easy dinners later in the week.

Best of all? It’s kid-approved and incredibly versatile.

Serves 4

✨ Ingredients:
• 1½ lbs organic skinless chicken tenders or chicken breasts
• 1 (16 oz) jar organic salsa verde
• 1 large onion, chopped
• Dash of red pepper flakes (optional)
• Sea salt and black to taste

✨ Instructions:
Place everything in your slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 4 hours. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir well.

✨ Serve With FIBER/Veggies:
• Siete Foods taco shells
• Cauliflower rice
• Brown rice
• Cabbage wraps
• Roasted vegetables
* Guac
* Etc.

You can also add organic corn, black beans, zucchini, or bell peppers to make it even heartier.
