Lynne has been a valued member of our team for almost 9 YEARS and brings compassion, dedication, and a warm smile to her clients everyday. Her favorite part of caregiving is building meaningful relationships and getting to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Phone scams targeting elderly adults are becoming increasingly common and unfortunately, scammers are getting more and more convincing. Many pretend to be from Medicare, Social Security, banks, or even family members in trouble.

🚩Common Warning Signs:
-Asking for money, gift cards, or wire transfers
-Threatening arrest or account closure
-Asking for a verification code over the phone
-Requesting personal information over the phone
-Calls claiming you've won prizes you never entered for

💡Helpful Safety Tips:
✔️Never give personal or banking information over the phone
✔️If things feel off, hang up and call the company back directly using an official number
✔️Let unknown calls go to voicemail
✔️Never give someone a verification code over the phone
✔️Use call blocking features if possible

A simple conversation about scams can help protect a loved one. Stay informed, stay cautious, and help keep our seniors safe! ❤️

This week we are shining the spotlight on the heart of Comfort Independent Living- Our owner, Alecia ❤️

Behind the scenes, she wears more hats than we can count. From answering calls and handling schedules to supporting families, training staff, and yes... even caring for our clients herself when caregivers aren't available. She truly does it ALL!

Her dedication to both our clients and team is what keeps everything running smoothly each day.

In her free time, Alecia enjoys spending time with her grandchildren (SIX in total), walking her dog, Macy 🐶 and traveling!
