🎤⭐ Lexington, you showed up for senior talent!
The 7th Annual Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent Lexington brought an incredible group of performers aged 60 and older to the Lexington Opera House, each stepping onto the stage to share something they love with an enthusiastic Bluegrass audience.

And what a night it was! Nearly 350 family, friends, sponsors, and community members chose to spend the evening with us. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, supporters, and guests, the evening raised over $36,000, including almost $2,700 through People’s Choice voting alone. Funds raised support the Morning Pointe Foundation’s caregiver education programs and scholarships for students pursuing nursing, social work, therapy, and culinary arts at partner schools right here in Kentucky.

That’s just one of the reasons we’re celebrating Ja’yma as our Associate of the Month at The Lantern at Morning Pointe in Lexington!

As a resident assistant, Ja’yma takes the time to really connect with residents while bringing a positive attitude and strong work ethic to her role each day. The care she puts into those relationships does not go unnoticed.

Our theme is Celebrating Our Seniors, with Grandparents Day and National Assisted Living Week giving us even more reason to celebrate the people at the heart of our communities. 💚

Morning Pointe in Motion is headed (virtually) to Munich, Germany, for its famous pretzels and Oktoberfest fare. Football season is back, too! We’ll also recognize Housekeeping Week while pausing for important observances, including 9/11, World Alzheimer’s Day, and Falls Prevention Awareness Day.

💅 Monday called for a little extra pampering!

Residents settled in for Manicure Monday with hand massages and time to visit while the ladies chose their favorite polish colors.

A relaxing way to start the week, and judging by the finished nails, a pretty good one too! 💗
