🌡️ Heat Advisory: Stay Safe in the Heat 🌡️
A heat advisory is in effect, and high temperatures can quickly become dangerous. Take steps to protect yourself and those around you:
✅ Drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
✅ Limit outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day (usually 10 a.m.–4 p.m.).
✅ Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and use sunscreen.
✅ Take frequent breaks in air-conditioned or shaded areas.
✅ Never leave children, older adults, or pets in a parked vehicle.
✅ Check on neighbors, family members, and others who may be vulnerable to heat-related illness.
Watch for signs of heat exhaustion, including heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, headache, and weakness. If someone becomes confused, loses consciousness, or has a high body temperature, call emergency services immediately—these may be signs of heat stroke.
Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay informed about local weather updates. Your safety comes first. ☀️💧
