What does Faith Health mean to our region? Advanced heart care close to home when every second matters. ❤️🏡

As the only health system in the area with an open-heart surgery program, full ICU, cath lab and comprehensive cardiology team, Faith Health provided 10,647 visits through our Norfolk and Columbus cardiology clinics last year alone. Through partnerships with critical access hospitals in O’Neill, Wayne, Creighton, Atkinson, Albion, Neligh, Genoa and Lynch, we also delivered more than 6,200 additional visits across northeast Nebraska.

For patients like Bev Markes, that care can be lifesaving.

After waking in the night with chest and left arm pain, Bev came to Faith Health’s emergency room. By noon, it was clear she would need bypass surgery.

“Everyone I encountered was wonderful. Dr. Brown did my surgery — he was so good,” Bev shared.

After surgery, Bev completed 12 weeks of cardiac rehabilitation and is now back to living life more fully.

Since 1988, Faith Health’s Carson Cancer Center has provided comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer care designed to treat not only the disease, but the whole person.
