Fred M. Tuttle
Fred M. Tuttle, 84, of Jackson Township, OH, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. At his side were his caregiver and wife of 54 years, Gail (Valentine) Tuttle, and his daughter, Lisa Lyda. His son, Jeffrey Tuttle, and daughter, Dr. Leslie McKinley, were present in spirit.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Obert and Luella Tuttle; his brother, Tom Tuttle; his sister, Linda Guitierrez; his son, Jeffrey Tuttle; and his daughter, Dr. Leslie McKinley.
Family and friends meant everything to Fred. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Gail; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Paul Lyda; and his cherished grandsons, PJ Lyda, Jeff Lyda, Ben Lyda, Matt Lyda, and Zac McKinley. He is also survived by his brother, Bill Tuttle (Jane), and sisters, Joan Weisent, Karen Olson, and Julie Szekeley (Bucka Bill), along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Fred was a graduate of The Ohio State University and a true entrepreneur. Throughout his life, he explored countless business ideas, often with Gail by his side. He was a voracious reader and a wealth of knowledge, always willing to share what he knew and to mentor and support friends and family in their own business ventures. He was a trusted sounding board—a person who would offer both encouragement and honest truth. You could not find a bigger supporter or a more genuine truth-teller to sit down and talk with, even if you didn’t want to hear it.
Fred also had a lifelong passion for gardening. His love for growing and caring for plants was beautifully reflected in his backyard, a place that brought him great pride and joy.
Above all, Fred treasured the people in his life. His family and friends were at the center of his world, and he gave his love, wisdom, encouragement, and unwavering support generously. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A celebration of Fred’s life will be held at a later date this fall.

LeAnn (Agarand) Ramirez (60) passed away July 30th, 2026, in her home surrounded by family after following a four-year long battle with malignant melanoma. Born in Akron, Ohio, a Hoover Viking and Lake High School alumni and graduate, she strived to be the best during her endeavors. At 18, she chose to join the United States Marine Corps and left for Parris Island, SC. After traveling the world and 20 dedicated years, she retired with a distinguished rank as a Chief Warrant Officer-4 (CWO-4). The first female ordinance officer in the Marine Corps to achieve this grade, receiving many awards, commendations, honors, and medals throughout her career.

Lee was a philosopher at her core; beautiful, strong-willed, outspoken, and sometimes stubborn. She strongly believed that everyone deserved to have access to information that would benefit their livelihood and shared her months of research backing up all of it.
She had a big heart and would lend a hand to those combatting life alone and in need of support. She and her brother, Paul Agarand, cared for multiple family members until their passings. She loved to garden outdoors, take care of her many animals, and going down any rabbit hole that caught her attention.
She loved her family, friends, and fur babies till to no end. She was thankful for her time knowing how precious life is when she was combatting cancer and was taken from us much too soon.

Preceded in death by father (Herb Agarand); mother-in-law (Loretta Ramirez); grandparents (Irene and Walter Agarand); grandparents (Greta and Frank Sampson); Aunt (Anita Agarand) and cousins.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband (Ernest Ramirez), daughter (Stephanie Ramirez), stepsons and daughter-in-laws (Ernie Ramirez, Kara Ramirez, Johnathon Fingado and Michelle Fingado), mother and stepfather (Kaye and Mike Stoneking), brother and sister-in-law (Paul and Heidi Agarand), stepbrother and sister-in-law (Kevin and Beth Stoneking), stepbrother (Adam Stoneking), brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws (Debra Hernandez, Nancy Ramirez, Frank and Terri Ramirez), grandchildren (Haden Ramirez, Kali Ramirez, Elena Cladas, and Mia Shay Fingado); many aunts, uncles, cousins, fellow Marines, and friends.

LeAnn will be cremated and interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman Ohio with Military Honors on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, at 2:15 PM
She wishes to express her gratitude for her family and wonderful friends who helped her and showed their love!

Judy (Sherlock) Babcock, age 78 of Canton, OH passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, following a brief illness. She was born on August 31, 1947, in Akron to the late William and Dorothy (Davis) Sherlock. She was a graduate of East High School. She will be remembered as the strongest, sweetest woman who was quiet, caring, and encouraging. Judy was a Christ-like woman who loved serving her Lord. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Babcock. Judy is survived by her children: Julie (Mike) Spivey, Jodie Babcock, Richard (Brenda) Babcock, and Jennifer Logan; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Vickie) Sherlock and Steve (Judy) Sherlock; aunt, Gerry; cousin, Ed Boal; several nieces and nephews, and her cat, Max. Erin Robin Stevens, age 30 of Canton, OH passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026. She was born on July 5, 1996, along with her twin sister, Sara Grace, in Springfield, MO to John and Tammy (Stearns) Stevens. Erin was a graduate of Commerce High School in Springfield, MA. Erin was no-nonsense, and yet she had a very thoughtful and nurturing way about her. She enjoyed serving her family, friends, and community. Erin was the best aunt her nieces and nephews could ever want by sharing with them her greatest asset—time and the gift of herself. She loved cooking and constantly trying new recipes. She baked and then shared what she made with friends and family. She was especially good at drawing many things, but particually anime characters. Her artwork included woodburning that she learned from her Uncle David, and working with resin. Later on she turned to digital art and became particularly good at it. She enjoyed music and video gaming. She also enjoyed exploring by going on long rides through the fields and hills of Ohio alone or with a friend just for the sheer enjoyment of it. She volunteered at a local foodbank and as a dog walker at an animal shelter. She had been working gradually and successfully on a bacherlors degree in data analytics and marketing.

Her family recently stumbled upon an extensive list of life goals that she made for herself. Here are just a few: co-fund or run a charitable organization; go out for a day on the water with siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, and coffee; drive a six-speed convertible; go on an Alaskan cruise; visit London and Germany to investigate ancestry; learn archery; have a home large enough to host gatherings; get married and have kids; visit nieces and nephews often; help mom and dad retire; create a college fund for my nieces and nephews; create YouTube animations; sleep in til noon. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her twin sister, Sara Grace (Christopher) Southard of Alliance, OH; brother, Brandon (Stacey) Goleman of Columbus, OH; nephew, Everett Goleman; sister, Corrie (Christian) Rabideau of Plattsburgh, NY; nephews, Titus and Jude Rabideau; niece, Aubrey Rabideau; brother, David Bradley (Sarah) Stevens of Pensacola, FL; nephew, Thomas Stevens; niece, Josephine Stevens; and Brandon’s mother, Tracy Goleman. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Henry Warstler Cemetery (2633 55th Street NE, Canton, OH 44721). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church (50 Parker Street, East Longmeadow, MA 01028), with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Erin’s memory to the Akron/Canton Regional Food Bank, where she volunteered. Vicki (Wheeler) Kintner, age 74, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family. Though her passing came unexpectedly to those who loved her, we take comfort in knowing it was not outside of God’s sovereign care, for He knew and ordained each of her days.

Born on February 9, 1952, Vicki was raised in Killawog, New York. She later made her home in Ohio, where she lived for the majority of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roger and Priscilla (Hesse) Wheeler of Richford, New York. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Philip Kintner; her daughters, Sarah Kintner and Carissa (Bradford) Miller; her brothers, Roger (Colette) Wheeler, Jr., Brent (Karen) Wheeler, and Brian (Deanna) Wheeler; her cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Cody, and Jesse; and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Vicki graduated from Whitney Point High School and went on to attend Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, for two years before becoming a Certified Medical Assistant. She was especially skilled in phlebotomy and took great pride in caring for others through her work.

Above all else, Vicki was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Her family was the greatest joy of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her grandchildren held an especially meaningful place in her heart. She delighted in watching them grow, celebrating their accomplishments, and simply spending time together. They brought her immeasurable joy, and she never missed an opportunity to let them know how deeply they were loved.

Vicki had a wonderful sense of humor and a laugh that could brighten a room. She loved making others smile and brought warmth and encouragement to those around her. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. Through every season, she trusted the Lord, and Isaiah 41:10 remained one of her favorite promises:

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Vicki’s life at Faith Community Church, 4301 Cleveland Avenue NW, Canton, Ohio 44709. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 12, beginning at 1:30 p.m., with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 3:00 p.m.

Though our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in the assurance that Vicki is now in the presence of her Savior. David Eugene M. Milburn II, age 65 of Canton, OH, known to many family and friends as "Gene," passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, in Canton. He was born on February 20, 1961, in Alliance to the late David Sr. and Susan (Warner) Milburn. Gene enjoyed fishing, camping, and backyard gatherings with family and friends. Gene was talented with his hands; he was a painter and dabbled in carpentry. Gene loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Rock-and-Roll music with Led Zepplin being his favorite band. Gene is preceded in death by his father, and niece, Misty Dawn. He is survived by his mother, Susan; six children: Mellissa, David, Nicole, Philip, Sarah, and James; his siblings: Betti, Rick, Tom, Ginger, and Kathy; and many aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He is also survived by his estranged wife, Grace, and her children, Abby and Alex. There will be no services or calling hours, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Richard “Ricky” Julian Haas, age 59, of East Canton passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of his many friends and family. Ricky was born on December 2, 1966, in Canton, Ohio to Wilfred and Glenda Haas.
Richard is preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Dale Haas (Ludden), mother-in-law Debra “Debbie” Yohe, sister Debra Lee Ritz (Haas) and sister-in- law Tina Haas. He is survived by his loving wife Jenn “Jenny” Haas (Yohe), his father Wilfred Haas, his son Brandon Haas (Macy) and expectant granddaughter Mia Haas, his daughter Emily Haas (Nico), his brothers William “Bill” Haas (Chris) and Robert “Bobby” Haas (Kris). Ricky also leaves behind his brother-in-law Mark Ritz, father-in- law Robert Yohe II, brother-in-law Tim Yohe (Becky), numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, in addition to his dear friends and chosen siblings, Dave and Jackie Montague, Greg Adams and Marsha Kelly. Rich will also be missed by his beloved dog, Neika “Turd Bird” Haas.
Richard spent his life doing the things he loved. For thirty-five years, Ricky and Jenny built a legacy of love and life together. Rich was a proud father, wrenching with Brandon or never missing a game or event for Emily, all the while providing unlimited piggyback rides and gentle wisdom. He was a father with intention and enormous love for his family. Ricky worked with his hands every day as a carpenter, and he would even do side jobs after business hours. He loved riding his Harley with Jenn and his pack of best friends and ripping it up in his dune buggy. Rich was the first guy on the dance floor and the first guy to call when you needed a friend. He was mechanically inclined, and you could find him in the garage, tinkering on something with an engine. Ricky loved vacationing and enjoyed trips to the ocean with family and friends. He loved hosting gatherings at the house for holidays, cookouts, and pool parties. Ricky was a kind friend to everyone and will be missed by all.

Gayle Ann Belles, age 83, of Canton, OH passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026 with her husband Chuck at her side. They were married 65 years.
Gayle attended Glenwood High School. She was a wonderful wife and Mom, working as a floral designer at Sutton’s in Canton and Rosemary’s in Massillon. She later worked at the dental practice of Drs. Robeson and Robeson.
Gayle enjoyed music, movies, playing cards, and visiting with friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Hazel Weston and her brothers Don, Bernie, Walt and Gary.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Charles, her son Charles Jr. (his wife Laurie Roden) and daughter, Debra Brikmanis (her husband Charles) and her granddaughters, Kristin Brikmanis, Carina Belles (husband Jim Strang), and Emily Belles. She is also survived by her sister, Cora, and brother Tom.
A celebration of Gayle’s life will be held Friday, July 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at La Pizzaria 3656 Dressler Road NW, Canton, Ohio 44718.

David W. Hinton, age 71 of Canton, OH passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026. He was born on November 6, 1954, in Canton to the late Charles Wayne and Dorothy Sue (Snyder) Hinton. David was a graduate of McKinley High School. A Long time resident of the Pavillion at Edgefield, he was a great friend and resident. David had a kind heart, and he loved photography, jokes, puns and owls. He was employed at Westbrook Park Church, Goodwill, and Marshall Maytag Appliances. David was a talented and award-winning photographer and a member of several local photography and camera clubs. He was a longtime member of Westbrook Park Church. David is survived by his brother, Jonathan W. (Sharon K.) Hinton of Estero, FL; sister, Julie Ann (Robert W.) Barr of Canton, OH; niece, Amy (Kenneth) Dimpfl of Columbus, OH, and their children: Greta and Felix; and niece, Susan (Christopher) Theobald of Gainesville, VA, and their children: Juliette, Annalynn, and Brodie. A private celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date. Adele M. (Peters) Guilliams, age 63 of Massillon, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026. She was born on November 19, 1962, to the late James and Doris (Berens) Peters. Adele enjoyed her mornings watching “I Love Lucy,” while drinking Pepsi and eating Reese’s peanut butter cups. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a graduate of Central Catholic High School. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Guilliams, and brother, Joesph Peters. She is survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Myra) Peters and Walter Peters; sister-in-law, Deborah Peters; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Devine Mercy Parish St. Mary Catholic Church, Massillon with Rev. John E. Sheridan as celebrant. There are no calling hours and inurnment will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon, OH.
