I began my Massage Therapy career in 2008, working with Doctors of Chiropractic and in spas; however, my goal was always to establish and work with my own clientele. I am certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), the highest national standard in the field of massage. I became certified in Prenatal Massage in 2008. I believe in the power of positive

touch and am blessed to have found my passion. Treating people through massage therapy has been very rewarding. It has allowed me to make a difference in the lives of others. Through continuing education and years of experience, my hands have learned to listen and my work has evolved. I am dedicated to creating a private, professional and friendly environment for my patients. A place where they can feel at ease and safe when receiving treatment. There was a time when my schedule wasn’t full.

Now, I’m usually booked out for two months and I have a waiting list.

There were days I would look at my books and see only one client scheduled. I remember wondering if I was doing enough, if I was charging the right prices, if I would ever build the thriving massage business I envisioned.

After 15+ years in this industry, I realize success didn’t come from working harder.
It came from
Building a strong foundation.
Learning who my ideal clients were.
Creating systems and policies.
Understanding pricing and boundaries.
Developing specialty services.
Building a client experience people remembered.
Treating my practice like a business, not just a passion.

After more than 15 years in this industry, there are a lot of things I simply do not care about anymore.

I don’t care about trying to look the most successful. I don’t care about pretending business ownership is easy. I don’t care about chasing every trend.

And honestly… I’m done playing the comparison game.
Especially in the age of social media where it feels like everyone is fully booked, making six figures, opening wellness centers, launching courses, and somehow doing it all perfectly enjoying their matcha.

It can be exhausting!!!!

And after enough time in this industry, you realize
your business works best when it actually reflects YOU.
Not the therapist you think you should be.
And not the perfect aesthetic everyone else seems to have.

I know what I’ve been through to get here.
I know how hard I worked behind the scenes.
And I know there is room for all of us without constantly measuring ourselves against one another.

And it may not be what you think

When a client no-shows or suddenly disappears, our first thought isn’t,
“There goes lost income.”
It’s,
“Omg… I hope they’re okay.”

And unfortunately, some of the times, they aren’t.

We build relationships with our clients. Most clients I’ve had for over 15 years!! We remember what you’re going through our deep conversations our concerns about life and health. We notice when something feels off. We care deeply.
