🏊 POOL SAFETY SEASON IS HERE, WEST TEXAS! 💧
Summer is heating up in the Permian Basin — and that means pools, splash pads, and water fun for your little ones! But drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death in kids ages 1–4. YOU CAN PREVENT IT with the right steps!

Here's how to keep your kids water-safe this summer:
👁️ NEVER leave children unattended near water — not even for a second
🤝 Stay within arm's reach ("touch supervision") for toddlers at all times
🏊 Enroll your child in swim lessons — the AAP recommends starting at age 1
🦺 Use Coast Guard-approved life jackets near open water — NOT floaties or arm bands
🔒 Install a 4-sided pool fence (at least 4 ft tall) that completely surrounds the pool
🧯 Learn CPR — knowing it can save your child's life in an emergency
