✨ What is Mohs Micrographic Surgery? ✨

Mohs surgery is an advanced treatment technique used to remove certain types of skin cancer while preserving as much healthy skin as possible.

During the procedure, the dermatologist removes the cancerous tissue layer by layer and examines each layer under a microscope until all cancer cells are gone. This allows for the highest level of precision while minimizing the amount of surrounding tissue removed.

Mohs surgery is especially helpful in areas where preserving healthy skin is important, such as the face, ears, nose, and hands.
