Our goal is for children and families who visit us to feel at home. We know that a hospital can be a scary place for a young child. So we’ve gone above and beyond to create a care center that is friendly and perhaps even a little fun. At AdventHealth for Children we have made it our purpose to provide your family with the most advanced pediatric medical services built on the foundation of treating all our patients as if they were are own. With more then 140 pediatric specialists practicing in 35 specialties dedicated to healing children, we have built a connected network of 28 trusted locations from Urgent Cares to Emergency Rooms and from Specialty Clinics to NICUs. We appreciate and encourage the conversations and perspectives shared by the diverse AdventHealth online community. For nearly a decade after Nyla was diagnosed with sickle cell disease at just one month old, her mom, Brittany, searched for a cure that could change her daughter’s life.

After a medical scare and years of chronic transfusions, Nyla became eligible for a stem cell transplant—with Brittany as her donor.

Today, Nyla is off medication, no longer needs transfusions and is back in middle school, embracing a new beginning filled with “firsts.”
