Early Intervention provides coordinated services to parents of young children with disabilities and developmental delays. Call for more information!

Our mission is to provide supports to assist the family to enhance children's learning and development through everyday opportunities Home Visiting uses Parents as Teachers to inform, support, and encourage parents to be their child's first and best teacher. Our vision is that all children will grow and develop to reach their full potential. Together, parents and home visitors focus on children's healthy growth and development. We work with prenatal mom's, and families up until the age of 3.

FREE COATS FOR PUTNAM COUNTY KIDS!

Thanks to the generosity of Kiwanis Club of Ottawa, Ohio and the Family & Children First Council, free coats are available for local children to help keep them warm this winter!

One free coat per child, while supplies last.

Set aside time for books!

Reading before bed can help your child relax. Reading after a nap can help your child wake up. Make 20 minutes our goal, and remember it can be spread out over the whole day.

The best time to start reading to your child is before birth! They will not understand the story, look at pictures, or turn pages, but they love to hear your voice!

Your baby will feel comforted by hearing your voice. They will grow up thinking of reading as something they like to do with you! 📖❤

Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the most important ways to protect infants 💙

Always place babies on their back to sleep, use a firm and flat sleep surface, and keep cribs free of pillows, blankets, and toys. Room sharing (without bed sharing) is also recommended.

Small steps make a big difference in keeping babies safe during sleep.
