Set aside time for books!

Reading before bed can help your child relax. Reading after a nap can help your child wake up. Make 20 minutes our goal, and remember it can be spread out over the whole day.

The best time to start reading to your child is before birth! They will not understand the story, look at pictures, or turn pages, but they love to hear your voice!

Your baby will feel comforted by hearing your voice. They will grow up thinking of reading as something they like to do with you! 📖❤

Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the most important ways to protect infants 💙

Always place babies on their back to sleep, use a firm and flat sleep surface, and keep cribs free of pillows, blankets, and toys. Room sharing (without bed sharing) is also recommended.

Small steps make a big difference in keeping babies safe during sleep.

When the weather is nice, head outside for a simple and colorful activity your little one will love!

✨ What you need:

Coffee filters
Washable markers
Spray bottle with water

🎨 How to play:
Let your child decorate a coffee filter with lots of different colors using markers. When they’re done, it’s time for the magic—spray with water and watch the colors spread and blend like tie-dye!
