Imagine being told your rehabilitation is working, but your insurance is done paying.

That's what a therapy cap can mean. It limits how many physical, occupational, or speech therapy visits an insurance company will cover, often before someone has reached their recovery potential.

Medicare’s hard therapy cap was repealed in 2018 after years of advocacy from Falling Forward and others. Yet about 99% of commercial insurance plans still place random limits on rehabilitation visits.

Recovery should be guided by a person’s needs and potential, not an arbitrary number of visits.
