This demonstration shows how the implant is actually placed in the Preservé technique. The soft Ergonomix implant is loaded into a funnel, sometimes called a Keller funnel, which lets it be guided through a small incision in the breast crease and eased gently into position above the muscle. Because the implant slides through rather than being pushed, the incision can stay small and the surrounding tissue is handled more delicately.
From there it settles into a pocket created behind the breast tissue, with the natural support ligaments left intact to cradle it the way they always have. That's a big part of what gives the result its natural drape and feel, and why recovery tends to be gentler. Worth saying this is a model, not real surgery, and every anatomy is different, so what suits one person may call for a different approach in another.
