Many kids who seem to “eat fine” are actually:
• Sucking on foods until they dissolve
• Avoiding meats and certain textures
• Swallowing pieces that are too big or swallowing food whole

When chewing is hard, kids avoid foods that feel unsafe. That’s when mealtime becomes a stressful event.

Feeding therapy helps strengthen the muscles needed for safe, confident eating.

If your baby is seriously struggling with feeding, it’s not “just colic.”

Tongue and lip ties can show up as:
• Clicking sounds during feeding
• Excessive gas or hiccups
• Falling asleep mid‑feed
• Milk leaking from the sides of the mouth (excessive spillage)
• Breast preference or difficulty latching to the breast and/or bottle

These signs are more common than most realize and they’re often overlooked.

Your concerns are valid. And you deserve answers.
